Royal Manor Inn

Bertha was the best part of our stay. She was warm, friendly, accommodating, and full of ideas for things to do. We loved the hearty breakfasts she cooked each morning and the drinks at 4pm. The Royal Manor Inn has been beautifully restored, with clean, spacious, comfortable rooms, updated bathrooms, and several inviting places to hang out, including a roomy covered patio with a fireplace. It’s a little off the beaten path, but the picturesque walk to downtown takes about 15 minutes. My husband and I chose the inn after reading its glowing reviews, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. If we return to Niagara-on-the-Lake, this will be the only place we stay. Bertha was a wonderful host and knew a lot about local restaurants and wineries to visit. She served a delicious three-course breakfast made with fresh local fruit and vegetables. We spent two nights at the Royal Manor Inn, which has been beautifully renovated and has all the amenities we could want. The covered outdoor patio was a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine provided by the inn.

Bertha made the stay feel like we’d been welcomed into someone’s home. She was lovely, helpful with local attractions, and made AMAZING breakfasts. The historic inn is beautifully remodeled, with comfortable rooms, immaculately updated bathrooms, and all the conveniences you’d expect. There’s plenty of common space, and the back patio and fireplace are wonderful. A must stay. I’d give it more stars if I could, and we’ll be back.

Bertha was kind and shared recommendations for nearby places. The room was comfortable and clean, with a modern, sophisticated interior. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. We had Eggs Benedict, and the cute presentation got everyone at our table excited. Our two nights here are a lovely memory, and I’d love to come back!
