Reading by the lakeshore while listening to the loons was so calming. It felt like a lap of luxury in the wilderness, and we really enjoyed our stay. The friendly host has the resort up for sale. I hope someone buys it and brings back the fine dining and gift shop for the community to enjoy.

We got in from Bella Coola around 9pm, but sadly there weren’t any rooms left. The owner was fantastic and called the Tatla Lake motel for us, where they had some availability. Such a kind soul. I truly appreciate the help.

I loved unwinding on the dock, where there’s a little bar, umbrellas and chairs, everything needed to sit back and enjoy some time off. The resort sits right on Nimpo Lake, with lovely views, a beautifully landscaped yard and nicely decorated rooms. Donn and Lee welcomed us warmly and were awesome hosts. There’s also a sauna and a spacious outdoor shower overlooking the lake. Can’t wait to come back!

There’s cable TV, good heating and a large car park for fifth wheels. The resort is clean, the staff are friendly, and it’s right on the lake. We’ll be back.
