We booked a room at short notice during a snowmobile trip, and it had exactly what we needed after a 300 km ride. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had plenty of hot water. The owner was really helpful and let us park our seven snowmobiles under the canopy, out of sight from the street.

The room was affordable and satisfactory. It was a little cold, but the bed was comfortable, and the amenities worked. The shower pressure was good, too. I'm pregnant and especially picky about smells right now, but the room smelled fine and didn't bother me at all.

It was very cold out, and the owner came to plug in our SUV. We appreciated the service, and the stay was comfortable, with comfortable beds and pillows.

Looking for luxury? Keep driving. Tobin Lake Motel is more for someone who doesn't mind decor that seems unchanged since the year I was born and Wi-Fi that feels more like a suggestion than an actual service.

The toilet hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest, and the desk and doorknobs were dirty and sticky.
