Coast Lonsdale Quay Hotel

Ishita at the front desk really stood out. The staff were professional and helpful, and she was especially lovely. We enjoyed coming back. Our room was a good size and clean, though it could use a little refresh. Having coffee, a mini fridge, and a microwave was appreciated.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the views are breathtaking. There are walks, markets, and restaurants nearby, with just about everything you need on the hotel’s ground floor. But what I’ll remember most is how kind the staff were. The cleaners in the hallway greeted me whenever I passed, and the front desk team went out of their way to help. I’m staying for a few days and had an issue on my first night that was caused by boats on the water, not the hotel. The woman who checked me in was so pleasant and made me feel comfortable. In the morning, a man at the desk arranged a room change and told me exactly when I could return. He called when the new room was ready, and another staff member already knew what I needed and expressed sympathy about the previous evening. I said there was nothing for him to apologize for, but he told me it was his duty to make my stay wonderful because I was a guest. I’m usually moved to write a review only when I’m blown away or very upset, and this service really impressed me. These wonderful people will stand out in my mind for years.

The team was kind and attentive, and their care helped me relax during a difficult time. Harry made check-in and my room change easy, and Hanh got the room ready quickly. It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The hotel itself is clean, safe, and well located. I’m truly grateful for the service and would recommend staying here, especially if you need to bring your fur baby along.

This is my go-to when I’m in town. The view across the water from my little balcony, looking toward the city from the Longsdale Quay, is beautiful. It’s close to downtown but more affordable than downtown Vancouver hotels. The sea bus takes about 10 minutes, and there’s a quaint market, plenty of places to eat, stores, and a pharmacy nearby. Great staff, clean and quiet rooms, and a fabulous place to stay.
