I hesitated before posting this, but other travellers should know. While we were passing through earlier this summer, the owner was extremely creepy toward our teen daughters and kept mentioning there were “cameras” around the facility. If feeling safe and respected matters to you, avoid staying here.

We got a last-minute room at Motel Riviere-Trois Pistoles and would stay again on our next trip east. Though small, the room was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds, a fridge, TV, microwave, and coffee machine, everything we needed. It was a beautiful night, and after a long day of driving the host offered to light a fire in the fire pit out front. A really relaxing way to finish the day. Thank you!

For the past three years, we’ve stopped here on our trips between eastern Ontario and northern New Brunswick, both ways. It’s an older motel, but exceptionally clean and has all the basic things we need. The owners are real down homers and want guests to have a peaceful, comfortable stay. We’ll keep making it part of our trips.

We arrived by bicycle and the genial hosts gave us a warm welcome. The room had all the expected amenities, and our needs were anticipated and taken care of without us having to ask. It was spotlessly clean and felt safe, a perfect place to pause for one night.

Worst motel experience I’ve ever had, by far. Staff accosted me and came close to harassing me over minor inconveniences and miscommunications. Poor value for money. Don’t bother with this place.
