Tru By Hilton Oshawa

It’s only about six months old, so everything still feels new, and the rooms are clean and a good size. I’ve stayed here twice recently and enjoyed both visits. Breakfast is included, and I like having a fitness centre too. Everyone I spoke with was helpful and friendly. I’d happily come back.

The rooms are very small, so for two adults there’s barely enough room for one person to move around comfortably at a time. My partner and I managed, but one of us would need to sit on the bed or step into the washroom for the other to get across the room. The shower is another thing to consider, especially for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns. The bathroom was beautiful, but there’s a rail outside the shower door and none inside, and the door swings both ways. My grandparents found that difficult. Still, I really enjoyed staying at the Tru by Hilton Oshawa. The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice, and the modern, comfortable atmosphere felt distinctive. The staff were kind, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. It’s a lovely hotel with a great vibe, and I’d recommend it for couples or shorter stays.

The room was clean, and breakfast was amazing. Isha kept the breakfast area tidy, and the food was always hot and delicious. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly, so we felt comfortable and looked after the whole time. The location was perfect too. Special thanks to the kind, helpful “door man”, whose name we didn’t get. We’d absolutely recommend the hotel and will be back!

We were in town for a conference with friends and had a great stay. It was easy to hang out in the lobby on the comfy couches, and while we didn’t use them, there were board games and a foosball table. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms had nice shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Staff were friendly, and the little shop had things like gum, snacks, and drinks for sale. There was coffee available too, plus a great breakfast in the morning. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to families traveling.
