The location is great, but the stay felt like a $50-a-night motel charging three times that for its location. The rooms are dated, the elevators are tiny and slow, vending machines had no water, and the taps only got lukewarm. If you stay fewer than three days, they don’t change the sheets or towels unless you ask for fresh towels. We only had two “large” towels in our room. After checkout, I also had to pay a new $10 tax. I booked two rooms, with one checking in a day before the other, and asked if they could be close together if possible. I was told that would be fine. On my check-in day I asked again, and they said they’d made a note. But when my father checked in the next day, they said the only available room was on the other side of the hotel, nowhere near ours and using different elevators. They did offer us a small room on the same floor, but since we’d prepaid, there was no compensation offered for taking the smaller room.

The rooms are comfortable and have full kitchens, which is a nice bonus. The hotel is centrally located. Housekeeping is limited, but the front desk can provide extra towels and toiletries whenever you ask. The gym is open 24 hours, which is great. Parking can be pricey.

We could park the car and walk to everything we wanted to see or do, thanks to the excellent location. The rooms were larger than expected, and it was nice having each bed in its own separate room. The service was great, though the pillows left a little to be desired.

The family room was spacious and the linen was clean. The building is walkable to fast food, pubs, and a grocery store, so it’s fine for a short visit. Breakfast is worth skipping, though: the free options were limited, and getting a waffle meant standing in line for 30 minutes. Otherwise, you’re left with a muffin. The coffee was yuck, so I wouldn’t stay for long.
