Fairfield Inn & Suites Ottawa Airport

I couldn’t find anything bad to say about this hotel. The rooms were near perfect, the pool was there, and breakfast was great. It’s a pretty high-security place too: you have to scan your room card just to use the elevator. Service was very fast; I asked for an extra pillow and blanket, and they arrived within minutes. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get crowded, since it’s right on the airport.

That waffle station brings back memories of family trips when I was a kid. Breakfast here is a real spread too, with eggs prepared a few ways, sausage, cheese, salsa and other sauces, juice, coffee, pastries, and bread. I come back whenever I'm in the Ottawa area because the staff across the hotel treat you so well. The front desk is helpful and courteous, and the rooms are clean, aside from a few minor exceptions. I've had a great stay each time, and Fairfield is one of my favourite places to stay. I plan to keep choosing it.

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas night here and had a great time. The breakfast had a huge range of choices, and the room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed. I did wish there were a heavier cover, since there wasn't a blanket in the closet, but turning up the heat took care of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again :)

The bathroom was huge, and the walk-in shower was fantastic. Our room was clean, bigger than we expected, and had a comfortable bed. We also had a warm welcome at the front desk, a better-than-expected free breakfast the next morning, and plenty of parking. The only things we missed were a restaurant or bar on site and a make-up mirror in the bathroom. There was a restaurant across the parking lot, close enough for us, and the missing mirror was a small detail. Neither would keep us from staying again when we're in Ottawa. A really nice hotel, great staff, and a great stay.
