We tried the poutine, chicken wings, and a bang bang salad topped with big, tasty shrimp. The pizzas at another table looked great too, so those are on my list for next time. Amelie and Martin were lovely hosts, and we enjoyed good food and conversation in the bright, screened porch that runs along the whole Bed and Breakfast. We even picked up a little French. Their daughter was a sweet, enthusiastic server and seems like she could become a singer. We found this Bed and Breakfast while looking for a stop between Quebec City and Gaspe. The Villa takes part in Terego and Harvest Hosts, so RV travelers can park overnight while supporting the business. We could use the restroom and got to see the guest rooms. There's also a separate rental cottage with a full kitchen and laundry, which sounds handy for families or winter sledders, since it seems close to the main trail. A great place to stop.

The food was amazing, and Amélie and Martin made us feel right at home during our one-night stay. La Villa has a lovely mix of historic charm, a fresh feel, and simplicity. Such a unique visit, we'd happily come back soon. Thank you both for being such natural hosts!

July 2022. Sorry to leave this review, but I really can't recommend the place. It had been sold, and I found the new owners careless about cleanliness and hospitality. I won't get into the details. They need to work on the basics of running a guesthouse and looking after guests. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owners made us feel welcome during our short visit. The guesthouse itself feels like an attraction, with a glimpse of the past.

Breakfast was generous and served in a period-style setting. The owners welcomed us warmly for our two-night stay at this charming guesthouse. A lovely experience.
