A pair of Bald Eagles are nesting in a tree right outside the resort, so bring binoculars. We stayed in the Waterfront Villas @ Sunrise Ridge Resort and found it exactly the kind of reset a couple needs. The Salish Sea view from the BBQ patio is stunning, and there's even a built-in overhead heater out there. Inside, the king beds are cozy, with a spa tub and full kitchen too. We'll book again, this time with the kids.

The morning front desk woman made our hockey group's recent stay especially good. She went out of her way to help us and make sure we had a great time, and she's the reason I'll definitely return. It was also close to everything I wanted to visit. I'd recommend it for a weekend getaway.

The townhouse was clean and tidy, and it was nice to have my furry family member with me, with lots of places to go. Parksville's people are very friendly. Sunrise Ridge Waterfront is a great place to stay, especially if you want somewhere quiet to take a break from busy city life. The staff member was friendly and professional at both check-in and check-out.

I had a great two-day stay and will come back. Sherry was lovely, helpful, and professional when I called to book, and I appreciated all her guidance. It was nice to meet her in person today too. She went above and beyond answering my questions.

The living room had a good couch, and the bed was nice. The kitchen was decent and well stocked, and we enjoyed having a suite. It was beautiful, though cleaning could have been more thorough: half the dishes were left in the dishwasher, and the body soap in the shower was empty, so we had to get out and use the dispenser in the tub. The shower door was difficult to keep shut enough to stop water getting all over the floor. The fireplace didn't produce heat or a flame.
