Town and Country Motel

The place was filthy, a total dump, and nothing like it was advertised. The sheets were stained, and the replacements I asked for were stained too. The so-called breakfast area was a mess and unsanitary when we arrived. Since we booked online, we couldn't get our money back. We would have gone somewhere else if we could. I don't recommend it.

The bed had popcorn in it, and the sheets looked slept in and unchanged. Absolutely disgusting, the dirtiest hotel room we've ever stayed in. We paid 150$. We arrived at 10pm with kids, or I would have kept driving. Don't bother, beware.

The rooms were clean, the A/C worked well, and staff and management were friendly and checked in with us. The bed comfort was the weak point. Parry Sound is a summer holiday destination, so the motel fills up on weekends. Better beds would make a higher rate feel justified.

The bathroom was okay, but the rest of the room was awful. There were smears on the walls, dirt on the floor, and, after I checked beneath the sheet because of another review mentioning bed bugs, I found around 50 stains in different colours on the mattress cover. There seemed to be cigarette burns on it too, and more burns on the bedside table, despite this being a non-smoking room. My pillow had a large blood stain, so I didn't use it or the bedding. I slept in thick pajamas without covers, with a hard mattress and a lump digging into my hip all night. We were also quoted well under $200 by phone, but the owner tried to charge almost $300. After we argued, she gave us a 'discount.' I left early the next morning. 0/10, I would NOT recommend this motel to anyone.
