Days Inn & Conference Centre by Wyndham Penticton

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The rates are very reasonable, and the rooms are huge for standard rooms. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool, plus a hot tub, and it’s close to the lake and channel. Ask for a ground-floor courtyard room. Wings restaurant is on-site, and continental breakfast is included.

The parking was excellent, and the waffle maker at breakfast was a nice touch. We stayed because it’s an easy, short walk to soec. The rooms were fine for what we needed. Bring your own toilet paper, though. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

It’s easy to get to, with lots of parking and quiet, clean rooms that feel roomy rather than cramped. There’s a continental breakfast if that’s your thing, and coffee in the room if it isn’t. Wings is attached, so dinner and drinks are close by. I’d consider staying again. The one thing that could improve this average place for a stay is having pet-friendly rooms.

The room was clean, pleasant, and spacious, so it was a pretty good stay overall. The bathroom needs a bit of attention: wallpaper was peeling all over, and a big hole in the shower curtain let water get everywhere. The breakfast wasn’t great either, as others have said. The sausage was cold each day, and the potatoes weren’t cooked. Those were the main problems, so I’d put it at 4.5 stars.
