The hotel was clean, service was good, and everything is about a five-minute walk away. I was disappointed that the extra charge for “ocean view” got us a first-floor corner room with mostly parking lot and only a tiny glimpse of water. There's a park right across the street where you can sit by the water, so next time I wouldn't pay extra for that view.

A simple, clean place with courteous people running it. The staff were warm and welcoming at check-in, the beds were comfortable, and coffee shops and breakfast were right next door. The restaurant was closed for anyone wanting or needing to stay in. They even had a water bowl for pets, which says a lot to me. I'd visit again.

The breakfast was great, though it wasn't included, and the room was clean with hardwood floors. Service was great too. There weren't enough power outlets for charging, and there was only one bedside table, on one side of the bed. Sound insulation wasn't good, so we had to put up with pounding from an energetic family of four or more upstairs for hours.

The receptionist was friendly and responded quickly whenever we needed help. With the curtains open, you can see Percé Rock or Bonaventure Island from the window, or sit in the chair in front of the door.

The view across from the building is beautiful, and the rooms were well maintained with good-sized bathrooms. We had a great stay until the toilet clogged. The person who came to unclog it used the bathroom towels to wipe up the floor, which made me uncomfortable. Everything else was great.
