The room was clean and warm, and the service was good, but it didn't feel worth paying over $170 after tax for one night. I understand it was around Christmas, but the room was small and the hot water pressure was very weak. Checkout was at 10 am, earlier than the usual 11. Edited: Watch the small step at the restaurant viewpoint. I twisted my ankle on it in the morning, and it got much worse later. :((

The location was nice and the view outside decent, but the place could use upgrades to feel more tourist-friendly. Our rooms were tiny with low ceilings, though luckily we spent most of our time outdoors. The walls also didn't keep noise out: the next-door neighbours were extremely loud. Hot water took 5-6 minutes of running the tap to arrive, and there was no room cleaning. This was in 2023, when covid wasn't the concern, yet there was still a 'sorry covid' sign.

Le Nordet sits in a beautiful spot with sea views, and most of the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Still, the $564 total for 2 nights with the spa felt like too much for what we got, and we wouldn't book again. It's functional for a night's sleep, but I wouldn't recommend it as a vacation destination. The website photos made the rooms and facility look much nicer than they were in person, and the spa area disappointed too. The relaxation room smelled really unpleasant, possibly because the beanbag chairs used after the hot tub never fully dry. More care would help: even moving the worn pool covers away from beside the pool would make the area more inviting.

The bed was cozy, and the room had thoughtful extras: dishes and cutlery, a coat and shoe rack, plus a dining table and plenty of room to eat. Breakfast the next morning was better than average, with a good range of choices. A microwave and instant oatmeal would be a nice addition. We also liked the clean, rustic room design and ocean view, and the pizza worked fine for a simple dinner, though the crust was breadier and less tasty than we'd expect from fancy pizza. We stayed at le Nordet recently for a weekend on a shoulder-season special. The afternoon spa session was relaxing, with lovely rustic wooden hot tubs, small cold plunge tubs for one or two people, a steam room, boreal tea in the relaxation room, and a tiny sauna. The woman at check-in was especially kind and explained carefully that we could order dinner from the cafe to bring to our room, since the cafe closed when the spa did. As a visibly queer couple, my partner and I felt completely welcome and comfortable. I also loved how quiet and dark it was at night. There were exterior lights, but they were dim and low-wattage, which was a welcome change from the bright motel lighting that often makes it hard for me to sleep. We explored some nearby coastal trails before continuing our trip. It was one of the best-value vacation experiences we've had, and we hope to return.

It felt warm and cozy here, with ocean views from the room and an even better view from the restaurant window seats. The seaside location is about half an hour from nearby attractions. After a long trip, booking the hot tub and spa was a great way to unwind; the towels and robes provided were very clean. The restaurant's homemade food was simple, delicious, and comforting. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you can tell they care a lot about running this place. They do a great job, and I'm glad we stayed. Thanks for making the trip more enjoyable.
