Time Travellers Motel

We were happy with both the rooms and the service, and the husband and wife who run the motel are lovely. Five of us stayed while doing the RAP Tour (Round Algonquin Park) on snowmobiles, and the place is close to the trails. The rooms were updated, very nice for a motel, and clean. Check-in was quick and smooth. Since we had little room beyond a change of clothes and phone chargers, I called around midday to ask if they could pick up a case of beer for us. The owner happily got us a 12 pack, waiting when we arrived, so we could have a couple of drinks after a long day on the trail. Everyone was pleased with their room and even more impressed with the service and standards. Great work!

The grounds were lovely for walking our dog, and the views were beautiful. Our room was super clean and renovated, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee station. It was much bigger than a typical hotel room and exceeded what we expected. We were in Petawawa visiting family this past weekend, our first time at this motel with our kids and dog. Fal, one of the owners, was so lovely and gave us a tour. We'll be back every time we come up. Thank you, Fal, for being a lovely host.

The views were gorgeous, we felt safe, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're exploring town, having your own car is probably useful. My friend and I stopped here while travelling east for a big move to a new city, and I wish we'd stayed longer. Some Northern Ontario motels can be hit or miss, but this place was a gem. The rooms were clean and updated, the washrooms impeccable, and the water pressure deserves a shout-out. I couldn't have asked for a better shower. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting or stopping in the area.

I was travelling from NB to MB in Oct 2025 without a reservation. At 11 pm, tired of driving, I found the place on Google, knocked on the door, and asked if there was a room. It was the best motel I've ever stayed at, especially for the price. It was super clean and seemed freshly renovated, or possibly new, I'm not sure. I left at 6 am the next morning before the office opened, so I couldn't tell them then how great a job they do. A week later I phoned just to thank them for a nice stay. I appreciated the low price, but think they could charge more so they can afford to keep the place this nice.
