Comfort Inn Hotel Pickering

The halls and lobby were clean and had no odor, and the linens in our dated room were clean too. We slept quietly, and the shower pressure was great. The larger mini fridge and microwave were useful, and parking was ample, though it could use some attention. The couch could use a little care as well. The room looked wiped down, but needed a deeper clean: there was dust layered on the headboard and old food splatter on the wall above the desk and behind the TV. The beds were firmer than we like, and the armoire right beside the bed was a nuisance. The old heating and cooling unit was tricky to operate when trying to keep a steady temperature.

I was there for a week on a work trip and never ate the breakfast. It was disgusting. The room smelled bad and wasn't very clean, and the shower didn't work properly. I asked for housekeeping just once, midweek. They barely cleaned the room and didn't even make the bed. I was very disappointed with The Comfort Inn Pickering. The Comfort Inn Newmarket is completely different: it's amazingly clean and the breakfast is edible. The owners of Comfort Inn Pickering should visit Newmarket to see how to run a hotel. Don't go to the Comfort Inn Pickering.

Our room, 166, was very clean, and we had a fantastic breakfast. We checked in before 5pm on Saturday February 21 and were welcomed by a friendly, helpful front desk staff member. Even if we don't get to stay here again, we'll look for a comfort inn wherever we end up and hope for the same experience. Thank you for your dedication and service.

Our room was fairly clean, but we didn't get in until around 5:30, even though it was supposed to be ready at 3 pm. There was no compensation. Only one housekeeper was working and cleaning all the rooms alone, and other guests were also left waiting a long time for their rooms. The service was terrible.
