We came here on a recommendation from the staff at lost things distillery, and it was a great call. Dee was such a friendly, fun hostess and really went out of her way to make our stay a good one. The renovated rooms were clean and comfortable, especially after six hours on the bike. There’s also Fusion Bar and Grill on the grounds, and the food was delicious. We’ll be back!

Paid $100 for the night and got a clean, roomy place to stay. It’s in a cute little town near the mountains, and was one of the nicest spots I stayed at on my road trip.

The room itself was tiny and noticeably dusty, and it didn’t feel up to standard. When I raised that, the owner got defensive instead of responding professionally. She also said she “likes Asians,” which felt uncomfortable and made me feel reduced to a stereotype rather than treated as an individual guest. This was during the pandemic. We arrived early because we weren’t sure where to pick up the keys for our Inn booking. After half an hour, restaurant staff curtly told me my name wasn’t on the guest list. As an Asian guest, I couldn’t help wondering if I was being racially profiled, especially since nobody showed basic courtesy or tried to help. I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I hope management thinks about how it treats guests from marginalized communities and makes the place more respectful and inclusive. No wonder it’s called Stardust, the rooms are dusty. Edit: The owner couldn’t accept what happened and mocked me for having a bad day instead of apologizing. This happened a long time ago, but I’m leaving the review in hopes it helps other guests and improves the business’s service.

I travel for work and book hotels and motels online all the time. Until this stay, I’d never been charged more than the amount quoted and guaranteed in my confirmation. The difference was only $7, but I showed the desk employee the email and waited while she called the owner for instructions. She handed me the phone, and I calmly explained the discrepancy. The owner listed the charges, but I pointed out again that my phone showed the confirmed total. She rudely told me I could cancel and go somewhere else. When I asked if she didn’t want my business, she just repeated that we could cancel. It was late, so I didn’t want to leave, and I tried to explain it was about the principle. She said it again and hung up, leaving the young employee to handle things. It wasn’t the employee’s fault. The owner’s customer service was uncaring and childish. It’s a nice place, but I don’t know how it’s lasted with that attitude. I’ll be gone in the morning and won’t return. In response to your reply: I didn’t know you were sick, and I don’t know you, so I’m not sure why you expected me to say sorry about it. Whether you were sick doesn’t excuse the rudeness. Excuses are like buttholes, everyone’s got one, some bigger than others. Have a great day!

They upgraded us from a regular room to a cabin at check-in, which was a nice surprise. The cabin was spotless, and every staff member we dealt with was fabulous. No complaints, and we’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the area.
