The rooms are dated, but that didn't get in the way of anything. They're in good working order and have what you need, and there's laundry on site. The staff are what make the place a gem. They care and will take good care of you. Thanks, Ladies.

It's not fancy, but I thought it was a great choice. The rooms were clean and well kept, with comfortable beds. We booked online at the last minute, and the lovely front desk ladies were 10/10, really nice and helpful.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the price was reasonable, even if this isn't the fanciest place. There's a bar attached, a liquor store, and a few other small businesses down the road. I had a great week at the hideaway motor Inn, and ended up staying longer than planned to enjoy the scenery. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Folks around here are friendly all around, and you might make a new friend. If you're this far up Island, I'd recommend staying here.

Our stay covered a holiday, but nobody mentioned reduced service when we booked. The shortage of cleaning staff showed, and the rooms don't have air conditioning, which I hadn't thought to ask about. The pub and restaurant have different owners, so don't assume they keep the same hours. Even with those issues, I'd stay again, but I'd make sure to book an east-facing room. The staff were very friendly.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and it stayed warm the whole time I was there, so this would be a good choice if you worry about getting cold. It was quiet over Christmas. My room had an odd smell, though, and I wondered why they don't use air freshener. I believe there are only two hotels in Port McNeill.
