The hotel is older, but it’s very well kept. I’d read reviews saying the walls were thin, and they are. It isn’t very soundproof, though it didn’t bother me much. I stayed three nights, and the staff were amazing, doing everything they could to accommodate me. I appreciated it.

Our cricket team held its AGM at the Coronet Hotel in Prince Albert, and the meeting went really well. The hall was clean, organized, and just right for our gathering. Staff were professional and helpful throughout, and the owner was friendly and accommodating. Everything ran smoothly. We appreciate the support and would recommend the Coronet Hotel for meetings and events.

Mona and her staff treated our girls hockey team like family. They go above and beyond for you, hands down one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Thanks, Mona!

The TV picture quality is so bad that you’re better off bringing a console if you want to watch things. We tried the AC, but it mostly puts out heat instead of cooling. When we called downstairs, they said they couldn’t fix it because it was “already broken.” The doors don’t always shut all the way, even when you think they have. People smoke in the rooms and staff don’t seem to take action. You can hear people walking and talking outside and in the hallways throughout the day.

My stay at The Coronet Hotel was extremely disappointing. At first, a staff member was helpful, let me wait in the lobby while I sorted out banking issues, and offered a solution. Once the staff changed, the new team treated me very sternly, often ignored what I needed, and helped other people instead. Sometimes they stopped assisting me entirely and only turned their attention my way when it suited them. I waited for hours, expecting I’d eventually get a room, but the process felt disorganized and dismissive. When I tried to settle the payment, they wouldn’t let me in and watched as I went toward a nearby group of people fighting. I was weak and couldn’t walk more than a block, and felt completely unsafe and unsupported. The lack of empathy, poor communication, and disregard for my safety were unacceptable and highly unprofessional. If you value respectful treatment and security, I strongly advise against staying here. I’m planning to sleep across from the hotel. Cabs wouldn’t let me take my dog. Hotels.
