Days Inn & Conference Centre by Wyndham Prince Albert

That waterslide was ridiculously fun, best one ever! My son and I had a great time. The room was nice and clean, and the pool was a good size. We’d definitely come back.

I was told I’d get a discount, but a week later I still haven’t received my $300 deposit or the $75 discount. I’ve called several times, keep hearing that management will get back to me, and no one has. Every time I call, I’m told the manager has left for the day. This is after I stayed one night and water leaked into the bathroom from upstairs. I reported it to the front desk, but nobody came to check. An hour later, one staff member followed me to see the problem and took a video. They offered no other room. At checkout, I was told the discount needed a manager’s approval. Even the vending machines don’t work. Worst place in the city. Don’t stay here.

What I’ve heard is that the service and hospitality here are wonderful, and it sounds like a great place to stay. Maybe someday I’ll spend a weekend here with someone who makes it worthwhile. For now, that’s just secondhand news, my peps. Stay safe and live the way you want, not the way somebody else wants you to.

I’m leaving this here to remind myself not to book again when I’m passing through. Every room reeks of cigarette smoke, and the elevator has to be the smallest in the world. Then there were fistfights in the lobby, with drunk people yelling and threatening to stab each other. Absolutely horrible.
