I wouldn’t recommend living in this apartment building. The hallways are dirty and smell bad, and the landlord, who lives elsewhere, doesn’t seem to care about standards at Venice Place. Most people are great, but the response to a recent apartment fire and building damage was very slow.

The managers are great, and many residents are good, responsible people, but the owner makes this a terrible place to live. People need a working elevator, including residents with disabilities or older residents, yet the owner refuses to provide one. Even replacing simple door glass hasn’t been done. Without the managers, I don’t think anyone would live here.

The building looked in very poor shape as soon as I walked in. The carpets are disgusting and some things are unfinished. I’ve heard bad things about the property owner too. With conditions like these, I wouldn’t recommend living here.

The apartments are small, and the building is dirty and needs major renovations. The elevator is unreliable.

The management is ridiculous. Living here is pretty miserable unless you enjoy being around drug addicts and listening to sirens all the time.
