The raised, unmarked step in the room was a tripping hazard, and the door lock didn’t feel secure, which left us uneasy. The room was extremely dirty, especially the bathroom, where dirt buildup and hair were left behind. It didn’t feel properly cleaned at all. Staff were unhelpful and unwelcoming, and the customer service was poor. The beds were uncomfortable, the TV was very outdated and had limited functions, more like an old DVD player than a modern television. Towels and toilet paper were missing too. I would never stay at Princeton Motel again. If you absolutely need somewhere to sleep for one night, it might do in a pinch, but there are better options. This was one of the worst motel stays I’ve had, zero stars if I could.

The bathroom cleaning needs more attention. There was old soap, hair, and dirt on top of the shower, and it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. At first glance, though, the room looked clean. It’s a basic motel in a central part of Princeton, with cable TV, fresh towels, a bathtub, and a small patio with artificial grass. Flexible check-in was appreciated. For the quality, the price felt a little high, and the $250 damage deposit seemed unusually steep for this kind of place. There are stairs only, no elevator. Fine for a short, simple stay, but there’s room to improve the cleaning details.

Decent sized refrigerators with freezers you can actually use. It’s basic work accommodation if you’re working in Princeton. The rooms are lipstick on a pig. There’s a pub next door and restaurants within walking distance. Groceries are a bit of a walk.

I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my call about room availability for the night. The man I spoke with was rude and unprofessional, and his unfriendly, disrespectful manner made the conversation uncomfortable. I was looking for helpful information, but that wasn’t what I got. Customer service should be polite and welcoming.
