Greenhead Motel & Restaurant

We had a bad experience at this restaurant. Our food arrived just as we were about to leave after seeing two other tables get their meals before us, even though we'd ordered first. My husband asked for a burger without cheese and got one with cheese, and my meal wasn't appealing either. The ketchup bottle was dirty. I showed it to the waitress and she didn't apologize; she brought another equally dirty bottle and asked if it was better. When I asked what she thought, she poured the ketchup into a bowl and asked again. That didn't help, since it came from a dirty bottle. I found the place very dirty and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We chose the hotel's restaurant because there weren't many other restaurants to pick from, and it turned out to be extremely good, which I hadn't expected. Definitely worth trying if you're staying overnight. The hotel itself was decent and clean, and I'd stay there again.

The dining room was remodeled a few years ago and is clean and pleasant. The menu ranges from Western to Chinese food, with a good selection, and the meals seemed fairly priced. The restaurant seems to draw quite a few locals, and the lounge staff are friendly too. Service is great, the food arrives hot, and breakfast is very good. The rooms were also modernized a few years back. They're not huge, but work for me when I'm in the area for work. Housekeeping keeps them clean and they seem well maintained. Sometimes there's noise, though it's usually quiet.

The beds were comfortable, and the shower, a tub with a curtain, was adequate. The bathroom is very small, though having the sink outside it is handy for two people. There's a lounge with off sales and a full restroom. The place is well kept for what it offers, but could use a refresh. I paid just over $118 for one night in a two-queen room, including an actual breakfast. I'd stay again, as long as I didn't expect much in the way of amenities.
