B&B Saint Louis

Amed and his wife were warm and helpful, and breakfast was great, with a different menu every morning. We stayed in a room with its own bathroom on the 3rd floor, and didn't run into any problems with the old building. The old town location is hard to beat, just past the gate but away from the crowds, especially in busy seasons. Cafes and restaurants are easy to find both inside and outside the old town. We'd stay again.

Breakfast was homemade and delicious, and they made something different for us on each of the two mornings. We felt really well looked after, thanks to such a thoughtful, welcoming couple. We loved the cozy room and comfortable bed, too. The place is right in the heart of Old Town, so nearby attractions are easy to reach.

The location is ideal for walking around old Quebec city, and the room was clean with comfortable beds. It looked dated, but the private bathroom had been redone in a very modern style. There were 39 steps to the top floor, and the host helped us carry our luggage up. Breakfast usually runs from 7:30 to 9:30, but on our last day we needed to leave by 7. When we told the host we'd miss breakfast, they insisted on serving us at 6:30 so we wouldn't have to leave without eating. We'd use this B&B again if we return.

Ahmed and Salwa, the owners, were so friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We got great service, and Salwa made delicious breakfast every morning. The room was clean and serviced daily, and we had a great weekend getaway in Quebec City. Our booking account showed a room without a bathroom inside, which surprised us since the toilet was outside the room. Ahmed helped us switch to another room with a bathroom and toilet inside, at no extra cost. The hotel is in a central spot in old quebec, close to everything. I highly recommend it. A+
