Hôtel Le Concorde Québec

The location at Hotel Le Concorde during Winter Carnaval was perfect, and we had a wonderful stay. The bed was super comfortable, the shower had hot water and great pressure, and the view was incredible. We accidentally left a garment bag in the packed, chaotic lobby while three busloads of people were checking out. We didn’t notice until we got home, but when I emailed the hotel they confirmed they had it. Arranging to have it shipped back was really easy. I highly recommend this hotel.

We booked through Hôtel Le Concorde Québec’s website and thought the rate was very reasonable. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient, and check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean, cozy, and well heated, which made a winter visit comfortable. The view at sunset was stunning, with the city skyline lit up. The location is hard to beat, just steps from Old Québec and several key attractions. A memorable stay and good value. We’d gladly return.

We only booked one night, and I’m glad it wasn’t longer. The views are absolutely amazing, the rotating restaurant is amazing, and the pool was clean and nice. The people were friendly and service was great. But the room was dusty, and the elevator doors were filthy. The bed wasn’t made properly, leaving the bottom sheet lumpy, and the two flat sheets around the comforter had yellow stains and weren’t wrapped properly. I woke up with the stains right in my face. The rooms need a little work, if you ask me.

The staff were kind and helpful, but aside from the view there wasn’t much to recommend. You only get that view if you pay for an upgraded room on the 18th floor or higher. The hotel has two restaurants. I wouldn’t stay here again. Our room needed repairs, with visible floor damage and mold on the shower ceiling. The shower didn’t work when we arrived, and although it was fixed the next day, that was a major inconvenience after a long trip. The rooms feel old and need attention. Noise was another big problem. Street music went until 2 a.m. on the first night and midnight on the second. The windows were poor quality, not properly sealed or soundproof, so it felt like the noise was inside the room.
