Les Lofts Champlain - By Les Lofts Vieux-Quebec

We stayed three nights at Les Lofts Champlain for the annual Christmas market, and the loft’s location made the trip. We parked our vehicle and didn’t need to drive anywhere. There were plenty of little shops, cafes, and restaurants close by. Walking through Petit Champlain in the evening felt like being in a Dicken's novel, with lights, real Christmas trees along the streets, and the church bells of Notre-Dame cathedral. We could also stop at the loft entrance to unload our suitcases and personal things before parking, which made arrival and departure much easier. The loft was spotless and had everything we needed, perfect for a couple. There was plenty of hot water, and the bed was super comfortable. The one hassle was the parking, which wasn’t part of our stay at Les Lofts Champlain. The lot was only a 2-3 minute walk away, felt completely safe for leaving our vehicle, and the attendant was helpful explaining the services. But we had to get up at 6:30 a.m. every morning to reach the lot by 7:00 a.m. and pay for another 24-hour period. There was no way to pay for all three days at once. Even so, I’d definitely stay at Les Lofts Champlain again. I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

The condo is on one of the most desirable streets in Old Québec, near coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream, and souvenir shops. It’s modern and comfortable for two, though tight for three. There are two or three 24-hour parking lots nearby, within about three or four blocks. I’d rate the location and cuteness five stars, the utensils and add-ons and cleanliness three, and check-in two. The place was short on extras: just one cooking knife, two coffee cups, a few glasses, and two or three hangers in the closet. We had to clean the kitchen and bathroom when we arrived, as cleanliness wasn’t up to our expectations. The check-in process was a little messy. I booked online and only found out by accident that there were required check-in steps. We arrived in town an hour before check-in and weren’t allowed to check in early.

Right in Petit Champlain, just steps from the Old Port and Old Quebec, and next to the Museum of Civilization. The location is simply extraordinary. Magnificent, just WOW!

The loft is lovely, and its location is excellent.
