We came to Quebec City for our first visit with the family during Winter Carnival, and this hotel made a great base. The staff were amazing, and the rooms were very clean and well looked after. You're practically next door to Chateau Frontenac, the boardwalk, and the toboggan slide. Good restaurants are only a short walk down the street. If you're going to Hôtel De Glace (Ice Hotel), which is definitely worth seeing, the tour bus picks up at Chateau Frontenac, so the location works perfectly.

For Winter Carnival, this location was just right, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was great. The TV was set up for streaming, too. Staff were super friendly, and we'll definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Hotel Manior Vieux Quebec. Everyone on staff was helpful and friendly, and after such a good night's sleep it was hard to get out of that almost-too-comfortable bed in the morning. Beautiful Old Quebec was always a short walk away, whether we were heading for breakfast, the ferry, the Plains of Abraham, Lower Town, or the history all around us. It felt like a home away from home. Thanks for a lovely visit, and till next time.

The hotel is a historic work of art, renovated inside in a way that doesn't take away from its beautiful exterior. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was bigger than expected, and the view of the park and river from our 'park view' room was stunning. There's also a huge wooden rooftop deck with comfortable furniture and a 360° view if your room doesn't have a view. Everything from booking to heading out was simple. Staff were friendly and kept in touch starting 48 hours before we arrived. We got there early, and they stored our bags for free. They were accommodating and kept asking if we needed anything. There's a gym and spa on the lowest level, including a jacuzzi/spa pool for 12 people. The area was extremely quiet, and we could walk to every important place in Quebec City. In my opinion, Hôtel Manoir Vieux-Québec is the perfect affordable hotel in the city. A must-stay if you're visiting for any reason. D&G Swan

Alan and the staff treated us like welcome guests and friends. They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Don't be put off by the steps at the front, there's easy step-free access around the corner. We loved the Manoir Vieux-Quebec. The location gave us easy access to the Upper City, which we found more interesting than the Old Town. Breakfast was lovely, and the service was exceptional.
