The apartment was clean, with great taste in the decor, and the amenities, including the washer and dryer, were in good shape. There’s no daily cleaning like at a hotel, and the sofa bed makes noise when you move at night. The shower had no shampoo or conditioner, so bring your own. That was disappointing since I was counting on them, and the toilet paper was cheap. Still, I gave four stars for the rest.

The suite has a good kitchen, washer and dryer, and even a vacuum so you can clean as much as you like. The location is excellent. But if you expect a full-service hotel at around $450 a night, you’ll be disappointed, as we were. There are no staff on site and no services, and there’s no daily cleaning, only every five days. The soap is just soap, with no shampoo or conditioner, and the toilet paper is the thinnest kind, like you might get at a cheap motel. The sofa, which is also used as the sofa bed, is old and worn. Honestly, this is more like a long-term rental room than a luxury hotel.

This place is a good fit for independent travelers who are comfortable with technology. It's a bit like an Airbnb and a boutique hotel combined, with no reception desk. On arrival day, a link is sent to your phone to open all the doors. The staff communicated easily by text or phone, and kindly gave my senior guests access codes so they could enter without the app. The location is very good, close to all the action without long walks. The room had everything we needed, including a full kitchen and washer and dryer. There are no elevators, though ground-floor rooms are available for people with mobility issues. I parked at the hospital, a five-minute walk away, and saved a couple of dollars. The lack of on-site staff and the stairs could be challenging for seniors, or anyone uncomfortable with the technology or who doesn't speak English or French.

Quiet, clean, and close to everything. Getting into the building and room with your phone was easy. No frills and no elevator, but I'd stay here again in a full apartment with a kitchen.
