Hôtel Cap Diamant

The room was spacious, and the location was handy for the main attractions. Three different reception staff members were friendly, and they let us leave our luggage after checkout. When I asked about things to see, one of them explained the options from a local's perspective, which helped. They made us feel at home. We were also able to check in early because they arranged the room, and since it was my birthday, they gave us greeting cards and lotus buiscuits. That was very thoughtful.

I arranged this Quebec getaway weekend for my parents, and Mehdi at the front desk made sure they felt comfortable and had a memorable stay. He was kind, thoughtful, and especially attentive. The hotel has nicely designed rooms and a central spot, just a few minutes' walk from the boardwalk and Chateau. I'd recommend it.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the location is great. But the bathroom was the worst I've had in a hotel. It was maybe 16 square feet, and the sliding barn door neither blocked sound nor covered the whole doorway. The tiny sink was almost unusable with a shelf right above it. After being outside in -20 degrees Celsius weather all day, a shower with weak pressure and only lukewarm water wasn't ideal.

We loved how easy it was to walk to everything from this spot in town, and the innkeeper gave us outstanding service. The hotel is small, with just 6 bedrooms, so it felt more romantic, like a B&B, which suited beautiful QC. Breakfast was just right for us light eaters: fruit, cheese, croissant, juice, and coffee each morning. The parking is a short walk down the road. We'll definitely return.
