Hôtel Motel Le Gite

I've stayed here several times, and every visit has been top notch. It's one of the cheapest rooms in Quebec city and it's clean too. I'll be back 🤝

We tried several places over the weekend, but they were all full. Luckily we called Hotel Motel Le Gite and got a room for six. It was neat, comfortable, reasonably priced, and had what we needed to relax. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the service was excellent. In the morning we made coffee, and the free coffee in their café was a nice touch. A comfortable, hassle-free place to stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The reception and staff were rude and greedy. They confirmed my two-day booking, but after I drove eight hours, I found out it had been canceled so they could offer me a more expensive room.

We did enjoy the jacuzzi, and the sauna was fun too. The sheets were clean, and even though ours was a smoking room, it smelled pleasant. The reception staff were friendly, but I wouldn't recommend this particular room at its price. We booked the Honey Moon Suit, and the online photos made it look nicer than it was in person. It felt overpriced, worn, and short on the luxury touches you'd expect. The furniture was old and used, and the sink didn't work. The person at reception only mentioned the broken sink after I'd paid full price, and going without one was really inconvenient. It's basically what you see in the photos, with a lot of wear and tear added.
