Motel Lustre d'Or

I couldn’t forget this stay for the awful reasons. There was hardly any space, and the bathroom was disgusting. The place felt so uncomfortable that I’d tell people to book somewhere else. Expedia should take it off the listing or people will lose trust in the site. I’d never recommend this place.

Room 31 was spacious and fairly clean, and it had a new sink and toilet plus a hot shower. It was better than I expected from the other reviews. Still, the ceiling was coming down, the bedspread had cigarette burns, and it got noisy at night. There was no air conditioning, the towels were small, and I had to ask for a microwave and kettle. The TV didn’t work because there was no remote.

The bathroom was so cramped one person could barely fit, and the whole motel looked like an old building, nothing like the pictures. It was badly maintained and a really bad experience. Avoid it! Really bad.

The room reeked, the bathroom was awful, and there were stains on both the sheets and couch. Broken AC vent grilles sent cold air straight at the bed. When I asked to move rooms, reception just said, “No, we’re fully booked.” I could see the next three room doors open after guests had checked out, and nobody else came to rent that night. I made the mistake of choosing the cheapest place. It’s cheap for a reason, and I’d pay another $20-30 to stay elsewhere.
