There was some light background noise from nearby road and train activity, but it didn’t spoil the peaceful, relaxing feel. The resort is beautifully maintained, with clean, well-kept rooms and surroundings. It feels thoughtfully designed for a quiet getaway and made for a comfortable place to unwind and recharge.

It has the essentials for a short stopover or a camping-style stay, but I wouldn’t choose it for a romantic weekend or a more relaxing break. We were excited to try Boulder Mountain Resort, especially since we’ve enjoyed a similar concept back home in Ireland, but it didn’t meet our expectations. The accommodation felt quite basic, and being right beside a main road took away from the experience. We especially disliked not having a key to our room, which made it feel less private and secure. Reception had some basic food facilities for convenience, but the choices were quite limited.

Our cabin was fantastic for our three days of snowmobiling in Revelstoke. It was clean and had the kitchen essentials, and they even left dog treats as a welcome gift for our puppy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were well kept. There’s plenty of space to park a trailer or RV, and the Boulder mountain snowmobile trail is easy to reach across the street. I highly recommend this resort.

It’s a cute little property just outside Revelstoke, with options ranging from RV parking to cabins and bunkies. I stayed in one of the newly built forrest bunkies, a small cabin with two beds and a table. The hot tub, laundry facilities, and clean showers and bathrooms were nice to have. I gave it four stars for two reasons. There’s no coffee machine in the forrest bunkies. The cafe serves free Nespresso coffee from 8:30 to 10:30 am, but early risers will have to drive into town for coffee. A small machine in the units would help. There’s also an HVAC system, but no instructions on setting or using it, and even the front desk staff didn’t know how to operate the heating and cooling. Instructions would be useful. Since the property is right by the highway, trucks can be noisy at night, so light sleepers should bring earplugs.

We came in our Sprinter Van and needed an RV site with bathrooms, showers, and a hot tub. This place was just right. The bathrooms were warm, clean, and fully functional, and we enjoyed the hot tub. It was quiet, clean, and a relaxing spot after a day on the slopes. We’ll be back.
