The view from our room was fabulous, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. I brought a friend from out of country, and we had a blast. Rusty the cat greeted us, and the ghost town is something everyone should check out. Some reviews mention things being out of date, but that’s part of the point: it transports you to another time. The train ride is a 10/10, too. Great for family and friends. We’ll come back!

We spent 3.5 hours exploring and were extremely satisfied with the $18 admission. There’s so much to see: vintage trains, a massive railway roundhouse, old historic buildings, classic cars, and unique artifacts all over. It feels like a preserved piece of old Canadian history, more than just a tourist stop. Definitely worth a visit if you’re driving through the area.

The scenery is gorgeous, and it’s a cool relic of its time. We enjoy staying here with the kids, and this is our second visit. It’s becoming a tradition. The road traffic is well muffled in the rooms, but sound carries between rooms. The heel-walkers above us were quite loud. Still, 100% recommend.

There’s a cute hot tub and pool, plus ping pong and foosball tables, and the staff were lovely and helpful. This charming chateau has lots of character and is worth the money. We’ll definitely return. The only reason for the lower rating is the terrible TV, which was literally unusable, and an old, musty smell in some areas.

The location is beautiful, and the place is very dog friendly. You can walk the ghost town with your dog. The rooms are older, and there weren’t many places to eat out. We still had fun on our short trip.
