I’ve loved living here for the past three years. It really feels like home, and the staff are so pleasant and helpful. Rayanah has been especially supportive to the students, and Mai is my favourite too. Definitely recommend this residence, especially for first year. Best school residence ever.

The kids ended up loving this place, even though I expected them to prefer a regular hotel. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and there was everything we needed, including internet, a smart TV, fridge, microwave, and games room. I’d definitely stay here again. It was excellent.

I was hoping for a fair, straightforward admissions process at Seneca College, but instead I’ve had months of stress and wasted effort. I’m an international student who studied CPA before deciding to move into nursing, and the information I received kept changing. I was first told my grades were acceptable. I then took high school biology and got 87%, but my application was rejected because they said my transcript had no chemistry, even though it did. Once that was corrected, I was told I couldn’t be considered domestic because I wasn’t yet a permanent resident, despite being assured earlier that a Notice of Decision would be enough. After that, the reason shifted again: suddenly my grades were supposedly too low. They later apologized for giving me incorrect information. I find it especially frustrating that I never faced this kind of confusion or dishonesty as an international student. Now I’m applying as a domestic student, with grades I consider perfectly adequate and long-term residency in Canada, yet I keep getting what seem like arbitrary reasons for rejection. It feels to me like Seneca College is more interested in taking students’ money than making admissions clear and fair. The experience has left me anxious and regretful. I’d warn anyone thinking of applying to be careful about the process and the reliability of the information they’re given.

After a seven-hour drive from Montreal, we arrived Friday at 3:00 for a weekend with Foreigner and Styx on Friday and two Blue Jays games. At the desk, the gentleman told us there was no A/C, though they were working on it, and said we could cancel and find somewhere else. At the last minute, where were we supposed to go? Other residents told us the A/C had been out for two weeks. It worked in the hallways, so why not the rooms? On top of that, only two of the six elevators were working. They didn’t offer any rebate. Not a pleasant stay.

We got a reminder email yesterday confirming our stay, then today, with just three days to go, they canceled the reservation because the rooms needed repairs. Unbelievable. Trying to find another hotel in the Toronto area for a weekend this late is impossible. This was pure incompetence, and I’m leaving this review so others know a confirmed booking could be taken away with very little notice.
