Fairmont Vancouver Airport - Gold Experience

The direct runway view from my room was amazing and made the stay feel unique. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, with excellent amenities. From check-in through check-out, everything was seamless. Room service was quick, efficient, and professional, and every staff interaction reflected the hotel’s high standards. Fairmont Vancouver Airport is only a few minutes’ walk from the departure area, which made the location incredibly convenient. It delivered a true luxury five-star experience. I highly recommend it for convenience, comfort, and luxury while traveling through Vancouver, and look forward to staying again on my next trip.

My room on the 13th floor was beautiful, roomy, and comfortable, with both a bath and a shower. I made full use of the bath. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The room was soundproof, but I could still watch planes take off from the window. I loved it. After a very late arrival, it was so handy to pick up my bags and walk straight into the hotel. My next flight wasn’t until the following evening, and since I arrived so late, the friendly staff extended checkout to 1 pm.

We were traveling with our daughter after major back surgery in Vancouver, trying to get her home to Edmonton to recover. It was an extremely challenging day for her, and Fairmont at YVR gave us a place to decompress for one night after the hospital before continuing to Edmonton. Every staff member helped us generously and kindly through a very difficult time. I love staying at the Fairmont YVR. It’s clean, convenient, and comfortable, with service second to none. It’ll always be our go-to when traveling out of YVR. I could go there just for a holiday, I love it so much.

We stayed for six hours after a cruise, ahead of a late evening flight out of Vancouver. We needed somewhere to rest and rearrange our suitcases for a few hours. I’d looked at places in Vancouver that would hold luggage by the hour, but honestly, I just wanted food and a chance to rest. We called Fairmont Vancouver Airport after reading that they offer hourly room bookings for 4, 6, or 8 hours at reasonable prices. We booked six hours, and at check-in the staff offered us a longer, eight-hour stay in case we needed it. They were extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. The room was really nice and quiet, with everything in good condition and plenty of space. The bathroom had a good shower, though the water pressure was on the low side, but totally fine. The bed was so comfortable we wondered if we could buy one. The best part is being right at the airport. You can easily walk through the pre-security part of the terminal, where there are lots of food and coffee options. We used order-ahead for Tim Hortons, but there were so many choices that I wish I’d tried some others. I’d definitely use Fairmont again in Vancouver.
