Hilton Vancouver Airport

The room was spacious, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the overall feel was okay. The rest of the facilities were great too. Still, I was disappointed with this Hilton. I used to travel a lot for work and looked forward to staying at Hilton properties around BC because they often felt more high-end, with better service and quality. This one-night visit with my girlfriend started with a neutral check-in that didn’t make us feel welcome. I understand staff can have off days, so I mostly let that pass. In the room, bottled water cost $3, which surprised me since I’d never paid for water at a BC hotel before. There wasn’t a way to boil water either, such as an electric kettle. No robes or slippers were provided, nor disposable toothpaste or toothbrushes, which I’d usually found even at lower-rated, cheaper hotels. Maybe hospitality has completely changed in the decade since I traveled, but I expected HILTON to still offer those things. I called the front desk from the room phone and got no answer. When I went down to the lobby, they said they hadn’t heard it ring. Once I asked in person, they did provide the toiletries, and the staff were friendlier and more helpful after check-in than during it. There was no complimentary breakfast, the Wi-Fi was extremely slow and awful, and parking cost 35 dollars. I usually haven’t had to pay for hotel parking in the past.

The staff were consistently courteous and friendly, and the on-site restaurant was a convenient place to get a good meal without leaving the hotel. My stay at the Hilton Vancouver Airport was very positive. I got an early check-in and a lovely suite upgrade, which made for a comfortable, spacious place to stay and felt like a nice recognition as a guest. I’d recommend it to travelers who want room to spread out and professional service.

We had a 200 person wedding, and people are still happily talking about what a great time they had more than six months later. We booked our June 2025 wedding at the Hilton Vancouver Airport from halfway around the world, and it turned out just as we’d envisioned and more. Shaunella and her whole team were professional and amazing to work with. We really can’t recommend the hotel enough. The team was flexible, kind, cooperative, and considerate throughout. Everyone was wonderful, from the front desk and wait staff to the wedding coordinators, audio/visual sales team, and setup crew. They arranged the tables and chairs easily and set up our tables exactly as we wanted. They also worked perfectly with our decorating company. My family visited the venue in February 2024 before we booked. When we came for the tasting in September 2024, the restaurant staff remembered them. Then when I returned in June 2025 to finalize details, staff still remembered me. That really says a lot about the people and training at Hilton. Thank you so much!

The hotel was spotless, and the staff showed incredible hospitality and a warm welcome. Victoria at the front desk was amazing. I work for the airlines and had a rough day, but her kind smile and warm personality completely lifted my mood. She immediately offered French chocolates for my flight crew, gift bags with slippers and amenities, and an upgrade to my room. I’d love to come back soon.
