Rimbey Motor Inn

We come twice every year and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The rooms are always spotless and have all the amenities we need. They’re eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and it’s one of the few places left that really takes pride in customer service. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

The room and office both had a sulfur or sewage smell, although the water itself didn’t stink. The shower head gave a full stream like a tap instead of a proper spray. On top of that, the conditioner bottle had already been opened and was only about one-third full. My bed and pillows had long and short hairs on them, even though I was alone and have a shaved head. The fitted sheet was so thin I could see the blue mattress through it, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I deeply regret staying here and won’t return. I wish I’d paid the extra $30 for a quality hotel with clean sheets, comfortable beds and rooms that smell pleasant.

The rooms were updated and very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a great stay and highly recommend this place for clean, updated rooms and excellent service.

The noise from the room next door went on until 6 am. It sounded like fighting, and no one from the facility did anything. There was blood all over the door, and the cops showed up the next morning. Not somewhere you want to stay. The room was disgusting. The walls were dirty and badly painted, like they’d just put on primer and left it. The tub was filthy, and the plastic around the taps was broken. The towels smelled of smoke, so I wouldn’t use them. The sheets and blankets were dirty and stained, as was the mattress. There was makeup on the pillowcases and chunks of hair, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The fridge looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs before they put it in the room. Do not stay here. Spend the few extra dollars somewhere else. If I could give it negative stars, I would. It feels like you could catch a disease here. After we checked in and left the motel for the afternoon, the owner texted to say she’d undercharged me because there were two people in the room. I’d told them that when I called to reserve it.
