The cabins are clean and have excellent beds and good linens. Ours also came with a coffeemaker and cookies for breakfast. We stayed overnight on the way to Nova Scotia and really liked this lovely spot, with its cute cabins looking over the St. Lawrence River. Highly recommend.

The beds in cabin 14 were double sized cots on wheels, not regular beds, and they weren’t secured to the wall. My two young kids both fell out while asleep because the cots rolled around with even the slightest movement. We’d booked through Expedia for a room with two double beds and a sofa bed, so this wasn’t what we expected. Checking in late and leaving early meant we had no chance to discuss it with staff. Expedia was useless in responding, and this ruined the end of an otherwise great vacation. Be careful booking here. Maybe the beds are only a problem in this room.

We brought our two little dogs and were surprised by how spotless the cabin was. Even without a kitchen, our small private unit had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It’s a perfect stop between Ontario and Nova Scotia, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay, and it’s still great value for the price. The room was very clean, and the view from our private balcony was spectacular. We had breakfast at one of the picnic tables in the huge yard behind the motel. I love this place and definitely recommend it when staying in Rivière du Loup.

Nothing fancy, just a comfortable, clean place with a view of the St Lawrence. The bed was comfortable enough, and we had two towels each, a fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine. I’ll stay here again.
