We've travelled all over the world, and this hotel is definitely in our bottom 2%. We haven't even slept in the bed yet, but a good mattress wouldn't change my rating. The room faces the street, and the logging trucks sound like they're inside, so sleep may be a challenge. When the heat comes on, the blackout curtains billow like a parachute. The bathroom sink is about 1 foot by 1 foot, with no stopper or counter space. The hair dryer sits right above it, which makes me wonder if they're trying to electrocute someone. The shower curtain rod sags. And to open the door, you have to slam the handle upward to unlatch it, since pushing down doesn't work. This feels like putting lipstick on a pig. Avoid this hotel if possible.

A St-Hubert's is connected to the hotel, which is awesome. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. I took off a service star because the gym was cold, its main light was burnt out, and neither the elliptical nor treadmill worked. Hopefully they'll fix those before I come back. Highly recommend!

We were in the area for the Air Show at CFB BAGOTVILLE and found this place very comfortable for a good price. It would make a great base, with the St Felicien Zoo just a few minutes up the road.
