We stayed four nights in a large, nicely furnished room with an open view while exploring the park. The renovated church was bright and clean, and breakfast had a great range of choices. After long days hiking, it was nice to relax outdoors in the shed behind the main accommodation. Michael and April made the stay especially good. Michael helped us arrange boat tours and offered suggestions for the area. It felt like home, and we’ll definitely come back.

The hosts have done a fantastic job renovating and decorating this place, and the décor is top notch. We spent three nights near the end of the season and loved it all. The accommodations were thoughtfully equipped, and breakfast was varied and delicious. We also spent lots of time with our friends in the common area, which has a lovely bar. A highlight was the shed out back, where we could relax comfortably and watch the amazing sunsets.

April & Michael were friendly, knowledgeable hosts and made us feel welcome during our two nights here. The building was beautiful and well designed, and our room was comfortable and clean. It was quiet but still close to the Gros Morne National Park trails we wanted to hike, and anywhere in Rocky Harbour was an easy walk away.

That sea-facing shed and fire pit, with chairs around it, look like such a lovely place to spend time. We had a wonderful two-night stay over the May 24th long weekend. Michael and April made us feel welcome and shared lots of helpful information. Our room was roomy and nicely decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. They’ve clearly thought about guests’ comfort. We’d happily come back, and wish Michael and April every success.

The candlelight inn feels open and welcoming, with a lovely ocean view, and there was so much attention to detail. We spent five days there recently and had a wonderful stay. Michael and April were great hosts, and breakfast was great too. Everything we could think of wanting seemed to be provided. Thanks for a lovely visit. We’d definitely return! Sharon & Claude
