Our room on Kin Pl was clean and had a small balcony, and the beds were clean too. Check-in and checkout were simple, just pick up and return the key. There was a laundromat available. The water heater is small, so hot water is limited, though that wasn’t a major issue. I did wish the carpet were hardwood instead, since it felt a bit dirty.

It’s a two-storey, motel-style place, with check-in handled at another location. You can drive to the Central tourist area easily enough, though it’s not really close enough to walk. Our room was large, quiet, and clean, with two queen beds, a table and chairs, fridge, sofa, and a balcony overlooking the forest. It also had two RV-trailer-sized TVs, which is the one thing I’d change: one large TV would be better. Parking is off to the side, not in front of the building.

They booked my room for the wrong date, then wanted to charge the full room price again to move it to one of the alternative dates. I had to cancel and was charged the full price anyway. Be aware that cancellations or changes made less than two weeks before your stay can cost the full room rate. That’s an unethical business practice, and I don’t support it. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and never had this happen before.

The service was great, the view was amazing, and the place was clean. It was close to everything we needed, and this was the best accommodation of our whole trip.

My suite had everything I could think of, including Wi-Fi and cable, and was spotless and self-sufficient. There was a fridge, stove, and all the appliances I needed, though I was the dishwasher, lol. The outside deck had the greatest view of Rocky Harbour. Thanks so much, Jane and Jenn and the Shear family. I know where I’ll stay when I visit again, Stay in Gros Morne! Thanks again! ❤️ ❤️🙏
