It was so peaceful, and a lovely fit for the whole family. Everything was clean and eco friendly, and the people were easygoing. The owner and his wife greeted us warmly. It was my first visit, but I’ll be back. Thanks for such an awesome experience.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, staying for a week every summer, and I still love it even though things have changed. My aunt and uncle have a cabin here, so I come for the day and swim in the lake.
A lovely campsite with trails to hike, a beach for swimming, and a lake where you can kayak or paddle board. I’ll be back.
I’ve been coming to this campground every summer since 1977, but the changes made since the 2000s have left me disappointed, especially under the new administration. The old tent-only area is now a field, and the trailer sites have been moved across the road. You used to be able to reach the lake freely, without checks or a wristband. It’s sad to lose that open, accessible feeling that made the place special.
I had a really nice family day here. The beach was unfortunately very noisy last weekend.
