The Luckenbooth

Our six-person group had three rooms, and every one was spacious, well furnished, and had a full bathroom. The property itself is extraordinary, and the hosts kept checking what else they could do for us. Breakfast was unbelievable: we chose from the menu in the evening, then found it served at a decorated table with linens and fine china. The B&B is on the Cabot Trail, which is worth touring. I’ve never stayed at a better B&B. Can I give it a bunch more stars? We strongly recommend it as a home away from home.

Donna Lynn and Gary made us feel right at home, shared some local history, and had great suggestions for things to do. The food was excellent and plentiful, too. Our room at The Luckenbooth was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It’s a beautiful place, and I hope we can return for a longer stay.

The quiet location was just right, and there was a fox sunning herself outside when we arrived. We had a very comfortable bed and an extremely spacious, well-appointed room. Breakfast was excellent, especially the Oat Cakes. The building is amazing, and our hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. A fantastic stay.

After just one night, I was wishing we could stay longer. The room was beautifully appointed, with an en-suite bath, a comfy bed, and luxury linens. Gary and DonnaLynn were gracious and so hospitable. And breakfast...WOW.
