We’ve stayed at plenty of bed and breakfasts, and Douces Evasions is the one that stands out most. We’ve been coming for years and love returning. Gaby and Gerard make you feel welcome, and the comfortable, cozy rooms and excellent homemade breakfasts add to the charm. There are lots of bicycle trails nearby, and it’s close enough to Quebec City while still being away from the city noise.

After a swim in the beautiful pool, we loved having dinner on the lovely terrace. We could use the kitchen, which was a big plus: we had breakfast there, ordered pizza from Normandin one night, and picked up sushi from Sushis Shop the next. The house is magnificent and comfortable, the grounds feel dreamy, and it has everything you could need. The hosts were so welcoming that we became friends. It’s near the Bellechasse cycling route. What a wonderful escape, and a big thank you to Gabrielle and Gérard.

Gérard even came to pick us up from the restaurant when a storm caught us by surprise, which we really appreciated. The welcome was so warm, and the house is near the Bellechasse cycle route. Our room was beautiful and clean. Thank you again!
