Auberge des Îles

We spent a relaxed day kayaking around the lake, stopping at a few little islands to swim, with outdoor activities easy to reach right from the beach. Our room was spacious and looked out over the lake, and the food was great. The resort provides great service. We’ll definitely come back.

On our skidoo trip, service and food were both great. There’s plenty to do, with a sauna, hot tub, pools, a fire pit, a games room, and the lake right there. The hotel feels very modern, and I loved having coffee, hot chocolate, and lates available all day. The bed wasn’t comfortable, and the skidoo parking felt poor and not very secure. There’s no elevator, so we had to haul our heavy skidoo luggage up the stairs and along the hallway.

The lake view from the room and balcony was lovely, and the natural setting, beach, and islands felt idyllic. The modern room was well appointed with induction hot plates and a sink. We enjoyed the tasty restaurant and the fire pit at night. Staff were super nice, and there’s a huge indoor pool for swimming laps, plus a kids’ play area with a splash pad.

The restaurant is cozy, nicely decorated, and serves very good food, though service can be slow. Our room was spacious with a very nice view, but the bathroom was just okay and the shower could be better. The jacuzzi is a nice extra. There are some repairs needed around the room doors, and the hallway floor looks old. Once the renovation is finished, it should be a great spot. They’re adding a beautiful pool that will have an amazing view.
