The patio is a nice touch, and the Auberge has everything we needed. It’s really close to the beach, too. The bedroom could use better curtains, but that was okay.

Getting to the beach takes under 10 minutes on foot, and there are amenities close by. The hostel is clean, the kitchen has everything, and the staff made us feel welcome. Bike rentals start at $5, which I appreciated. A good fit for a trip on a budget, and I loved staying here.

We stayed as a family and found the dormitories comfortable. Lunch was delicious, prepared by the Médard cheese shop and brought over by our hosts. They were welcoming and took an interest in getting to know everyone. It was easy to meet people here and have friendly conversations.

I only booked one night and wish it had been longer. The inn is clean and the welcome was warm. There’s a lovely outdoor terrace, plus a garden courtyard with hammocks and a fire pit. The interior is stylish, and it’s very close to the Lac St-Jean microbrewery and an ice cream shop. I absolutely recommend it.
