Hôtel Le Voyageur

We liked walking around the city, taking in the sculptures, and visiting the Park of Seven Waterfalls. This was our second stay at this pleasant, quiet motel, a few days over Christmas. The staff were kind and helpful again, and our room was clean and bright, just right for us.

The price really wasn't worth it, and I won't be going back. The room carpets were dirty and smelled bad, and there was a large leak stain on the ceiling. The place was dirty and the service was bad.

I came back because I'd stayed here before, and I don't need anything fancy, just a clean room. I found dry noodles under the bed from a previous guest and showed a picture to the woman at the front desk. She said she'd make a note of it. I know she isn't the one who cleans the rooms, but I expected at least an “oops, we're so sorry.” If they aren't vacuuming under the bed, it makes me wonder what else isn't being cleaned. I was disappointed because she seemed not to care.

The photos make the room look larger than it is, and the bathroom is practically in the room. The shower only has a power massage setting, maybe they know the bed springs leave you sore. Total rip-off. Avoid at all costs.
