Motel Beloeil

The building needs repairs, even though it's beside a Tim Hortons and a gas station. Inside, the smell in the office was awful and the room was even worse. I couldn't stay. The rooms weren't very clean, and the old blankets on the beds were full of holes. I'd tell people to sleep in their car rather than stay here.

The woman at the desk was really pleasant, and the room was about what I'd expect for the price. It was fairly affordable and the room was decent. Montreal was close enough, but far enough away to avoid worrying about congestion. The place is nice to look at, and there's a 24-hour Timmies right across the street.

The place is a hole in the wall, maybe fine for singles or hookers, lol. The $50 rate was for four hours. They wanted $90 for a full night, or maybe $90 only got me five hours because I arrived at 6 a.m. They wouldn't give me a two-bed room even though every room was empty, unless I paid more.

The family room smelled horrible, and the brown towels they put out were worn out. One bed had white spots all over it. When we asked for a different blanket, they told us to check out, saying nobody else had complained so far and that we could leave if we didn't like it. I could understand being told there were no blankets, but that wasn't their answer. We've travelled from California and seen many places, and this was by far the worst motel we've stayed at. I expected better in Canada. Stay away.
