On Sept 16/25, we filled an almost empty tank with 78 litres of gas before driving home from the campground. About an hour later, our engine started sputtering and then stopped. We had to have our truck and camper towed home. The GM dealer found the fuel pump had failed because the fuel was dirty and full of metal flakes, and the repair cost $1300. Since reporting it, I've made several calls and sent emails. Both Keystone and Esso deny that their fuel could have caused the problem, even though the fuel sample and repair point to it. Now they aren't replying at all.
