The room worked fine for one night and had plenty of space for our family of four. Breakfast was nice and got replenished often. We went down at 9:30 and it was packed, which wasn’t surprising during the holidays. The pool, though, was cold and didn’t seem to have any chlorine. Some spots felt slimy, and afterward our swimsuits and hair had an awful musty smell. I’ve washed my hair three times and it still smells. That pool needs a proper scrub, and please add chlorine!

We had a pleasant, relaxing winter stay and would consider coming back. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and there were plenty of breakfast options to start the day. Staff gave excellent service and were always helpful.

The pool was dirty, there was a broken lamp bulb in my room, and most of the staff were super rude, though not all of them. The air exchanger sounded like a bomb about to go off, and the bed felt like sleeping on the floor. The list goes on.

We were glad they let us postpone our stay because of the snowstorm, with no penalty. On the way here, we saw several trucks and cars still in the ditches, the median, and along the side of the road, so delaying was the right call. A great stopover, and the staff were very accommodating about changing our date.

The room price was reasonable, though the $50 pet charge felt a little steep by comparison. We have no complaints, and thanks from Muskoka. The front desk staff were wonderful and checked us in quickly to a ground-floor room near an exit, which made it easy to take our dog out. Recommended.
